How to test the quality of paracord?

How to identify military paracord is actually very simple.

As mentioned before, the entire paracord is 100% nylon.

And each inner core is composed of three 100% nylon thin wires.

Some unscrupulous merchants often use polyester instead of nylon.

They usually consist of 2 thin wires per core instead of the military three.

Identifying Mil Spec is the quickest and easiest way:

First, check the number of thin wires in the inner core to see if it is 2 or 3.

If it's three, then it's mil-spec.
